Working with an Appraiser

Listing agents work hard to find the best comparables on your listing to present to the appraiser when they inspect the property. It is important for the agent to meet the appraiser at the property to point out new improvements or updates to a property which may not be obvious to the appraiser. Examples may be a new fence, updated kitchen or roof. Provide the receipts for work done by contractors to establish when the work was done and its scope. This way your appraiser will give you a better result on the opinion of value.
